Free Events For Students
The Cheltenham Design Foundation and the University of Gloucestershires are coming together to offer a free event for students and anyone looking to start to a creative course on Sunday 3rd November as part of the Cheltenham Design Festival.
In partnership with the University of Gloucestershire’s Your Future Plan programme, the event offers a unique opportunity for students to gain insights into a creative career from practicing designers, lecturers and careers advisors.
Our speakers will share they career journeys, experiences and advice and answer any questions you might have about starting a creative course or finding a job in the creative industry.
This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about becoming a designer for students from secondary school to university.
What is Your Future Plan?
Your Future Plan is a programme designed to support students of the University of Gloucestershire as they explore different career opportunities.
It offers practical advice, personal development and goal setting through talks, workshops, training and work placements.
All of these resources are available online so students have to 24/7 access to placements and work experience, a full programme of regular employability events and in-session or one-to-one expert career guidance.
Your Future Plan At The Cheltenham Designers Festival
Whether you know exactly what you want to do after university or still have no idea, this event will give you valuable insights from leading professionals into the creative industry and the career options available.
If you are a student of the University of Gloucestershire, this is also a qualifying event for your Bronze Employability Award, so even more reason to come along.
