The Cheltenham Design Festival programme stood out for me because of the imagination in it’s content.
There isn’t anywhere else where practitioners and the general public can get together and trash out design issues.
The Design Festival fuels the debate about the role of design in our lives, it’s also a platform to highlight our work with future designers at the Design Academy.
We rely on funding from our generous supporters and partners to be able to run an amazing event for our audience and help future generations lead a creative life.
Future designers are under attack. Demand for UK designers is high, but we’re not developing enough future designers.
The Design Academy, our free Saturday design school helps open the possibilities of design & creativity for young people and transform their future.
Through our bi-annual Design Festival in the heart of the Cotswolds, we are able to increase awareness around how design helps to innovate and improve all aspects of life.
The fantastic support we receive from those in the design industry and business leaders around Cheltenham help us achieve this, our generous partners offer money and support-in-kind, in exchange for exposure throughout the festival.
